Herons are available in FRP and composite. In 2002 we began building FRP Herons, but it soon became clear we needed to improve the build, so in 2003 we launched the Butler Heron Concept, incorporating a self draining false floor.

Working closely with the Heron Class Association, we have transformed the interior of the dinghy with decks that are now sloped to add more comfort when sitting out.

Adding side tanks has maximised cockpit space and attractive curved thwarts increases legroom with a maximum boom height again adding more space.

The solid forward bulkhead means better water displacement on capsize.

Improved sheeting positions for the 79% genoa.

The Heron is a reliable and steady dinghy and we are experiencing an increase in their numbers at sailing clubs wishing to use them as training boats hence our fantastic offer of two Ready to Race Heron Dinghies for just £10,000 (includes launching trolleys and sails).
