Phantom The high performance single handed dinghy for larger helms and those sailors who like quick boats that keep the adrenalin pumping .
Our phantom incorporates feedback from sailors on the needs for extra comfort and performance especially when racing. The phantom open cockpit now benefits from an attractive curved thwart which helps stiffen the boat and provides comfortable inboard seating. The new angled inner side decks add to the lines and make sitting out more comfortable. The boat sails well in winds up to force 5 and those with experience can sail it in higher winds. A race winner A Butler Boat was the first wooden boat to finish in the 2002 nationals and is considered throughout to be fast and competitive. We have been developing the design and construction of the wooden Phantom for a number of years. We utilise lightweight timbers and epoxy bond and coat all framework ensuring deep, protective penetration resulting in a durable boat with a long life.
