Foam sandwich construction with reinforced hull for strength and stiffness. The decks are now sloped to add more comfort when sitting out. Altering side tanks has maximised cockpit space. A new functional self draining false floor. Attractive curved thwarts maximises legroom. Solid forward bulkhead, more water displacement on capsize. Improved inboard sheeting positions for the new 79% genoa foresail Working closely with the Heron class association butler boats have transformed the interior design of the dinghy. It is now more user friendly with sloped decks for comfort, increased headroom, inboard sheeting and a new self draining false floor. Our winning design is achieved by careful performance analysis, retaining strength and buoyancy as well as maximising comfort and space for the helm and crew.
